i almost thought this place could be decent, but the shower was horrendous and just out in the middle of the room, how quaint. also, the lack of a proper breakfast was shocking. i expected a complimentary gesture for all the trouble i went through, but instead, i got treated like just another guest.

charming hospitality with quiet comfort and lovely dog walk just minutes away
Peter was incredibly helpful with my luggage and the large room was blissfully quiet, providing a perfect retreat. The lovely dog walks nearby were a delightful bonus that I truly appreciated!

Warm welcoming service from the host made check-in easier.
I encountered multiple issues during my stay. The room felt outdated, with a shower that fell apart as I tried to use it. the heating mysteriously turned off after midnight, leaving the room uncomfortably cold in the snowy weather.

the view was awsome, and the location was nice and quiet which gave me a peaceful vibe. it was cool to have a room that felt kinda spacious with a comfy bed to crash in after a long day. really enjoyed the chill atmosphere even tho i didn't get to see much of the scenery from my room as expected.
i had some big issues tho, like getting shoved into a tiny box room when i booked a double cabin and no window was a bummer. also, the heating was non-existent, so it was freezing when i arrived.

Peaceful Pontefract vibes 🌾
The location here is super peaceful, with lovely views over the fields. Peter, the owner, helped us when our car had issues, very chill. The room was decent too, just a bit outdated. No full brekkie options, but cereal and toast were okay. Can't wait to come back soon.
The lack of cooked breakfast was a bit of a let down.

Ensure to check heating availability in advance and request extra bedding for comfort during colder months.

It was just a fitting option for a quick break in Pontefract with great value for the money. The shower had plenty of hot water, which was quite refreshing after a long day. Make sure to arrive when check-in starts to avoid any hassles.

The location is peaceful with lovely views over the fields. The owner, Pete, is a jovial Yorkshireman who rescued us when we had car trouble and showed us great hospitality. The room was cozy and warm, perfect for a night's stay after a long travel day!
